The Great Migration is one of the most spectacular events on this planet. Each year around the same time, the circular great wildebeest migration begins in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area of the southern Serengeti in Tanzania and loops in a clockwise direction through the Serengeti National Park and north towards the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya. It starts around July, and it lasts until late in September. It can also be appreciated 2 weeks of October through early November. More than one million of wildebeest cross the Masai Mara river and 500,000 zebras with 200,000 Thomson gazelles each year face the awaiting crocodiles in the river during the cross. Do not miss this wonderful opportunity to experience one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Africa.

Early breakfast is important because you do not want to waste precious time. We will start with an early descend into the crater from where you will be able to witness animals in the thousands roaming at the bottom of the crater. Once we make it to the bottom of the crater, congratulations you just made it to the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, and you will soon realize the sheer size of it. We will start our game driving to try and witness as many as possible of the 25,000 large animals (Black Rhino, Hippo, Lions, Hyaena, Etc.) that inhabit this crater. At noon we will make it to a rest area inside the crater and eat our lunch boxes. We will then continue driving around the Ngorongoro crater spending more than 6 hours inside to see the many mini habitats inside the crater’s ecosystem.
