Booking Terms Conditions

Contract Variations

Below are the terms and conditions governing the relationship between the Face of Africa Adventures and you, to the total exclusion of any other terms and conditions. No alterations to the terms and conditions may be made by any of the company’s employees, authorized representatives or agents – unless in writing by an authorized officer of the company. Rates quoted are correct at the time given and are subject to change. Wipa Safaris reserves the right to charge surcharges due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control such as inflation, Government Axes, revised taxation or other fees. However, every effort will be made to minimize the surcharges.

Booking Conditions & Payment

A reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of a 40% deposit to our bank account. Only the amount received by our bank account shall be regarded as paid (with all money transfer costs paid by the customer). The remaining balance is due 45 days before your departure date. If your reservation is made within 45 days of departure, the entire amount must be paid at the time of confirmation.

Although if a client is unable to pay the entire amount at the due date, we will do our best to provide an alternative option. However, requests to do so must be emailed in within 45 days or else the reservation will be placed on hold.

No discounts are given on holidays or other special periods.

Children Policy

  •  Children between the age of 3 and 12 years will pay 60% of the adult rate if sharing a room with two adults.
  •  Pay 60% of the adult rate if sharing a room with another child.
  •  Pay 100% of the adult rates if sharing a room with one adult.


Any cancellation of a reservation must be in writing, either by e-mail or fax and shall only be effective upon its receipt and acknowledgement by Wipa Safaris. Thus, reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in the number of occupancies are subject to cancellation and no-show fees. The following scale of cancellation charges will be applicable, depending on the day before the departure of the tour when the cancellation notice is received.

  •  25% if cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival
  •  50% if cancelled between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival
  •  100% if cancelled within 14 days or in the case of a ‘No Show’

If the cancellation case is discussed previously, we will do our possible best to render our assistance. We understand that things can happen and will try to resolve any problems that are brought to our attention.


Wipa Safaris always appreciates photos sent to us from our customers. However, please note that any photos we receive may be posted to our website and/or social media channels.

Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to re-route the itinerary or amend the arrangements of any tour in case of unexpected adverse circumstances beyond our control. Although every effort will be made to adhere to the original schedule. It is essential to note that in Tanzania and East Africa in general, local conditions are not always predictable. Occurrences such as border closure, poor road conditions, seasonal rainfall on bush tracks, airfields in game areas, game migrations from one region to another, etc. can cause delays, disturbances and modifications of the initial itinerary. We shall make every effort to minimize inconveniences and we will communicate with you in regards to any itinerary or accommodation changes.

Western Union/Moneygram Scam

Please note that if you receive an email from someone asking you to send them funds via Western Union or MoneyGram, this is an email hacking scam. Wipa Safaris does not accept payments from customers via Western Union or MoneyGram.


If you develop a grievance during your excursion, please bring it to the attention of the guide and our company representative who will do their best to resolve the situation to your satisfaction.
