Tina G2024-01-13Unbelievable adventure We went on a 5-day-private camping safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. I still can't find words to describe that unbelievable adventure! Our driver Mallya did an amazing job. He made us feel very comfortable and drove us really safely thru the nature and wildlife. (Even if there was a lot of water on the road). We saw so many animals: antilopes , lions, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, leopards, cheetahs, and a lot more - I still can't believe it. Rajabu, our chef, cooked the best meals we had in Tansania! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were just perfect. We really absolutely enjoyed this safari so much! Thank you guys that our dream has become true. Tina and Katha 🙂rocio c2023-09-25Awesome experience I always wanted to go to a safari, and I knew it was going to be good. But I never thought it was going to be so awesome. Benson (our guide) went above and beyond to make sure we were able to see as much as we could during our time. He stopped for anything that we asked for, he knew the place and the animals like the palm of his hand. Always explaining the plan and what to expect. Also unexpected: The food was so delicious!!.Zeny R2023-09-11Espectacular!!!!!! We booked a 4-day private safari visiting three national parks, and had a truly amazing time. Our guide Benson picked us up right from the Kilimanjaro International Airport, from where our adventure started. Our first destination was the Lake Manyara National Park, which was a 4-hour drive. On the way there, Benson gave us a lot of general information about Tanzania, and answered all our curious questions, which we really appreciated. We arrived at Lake Manyara right on time for our first boxed lunch, and saw our first elephants and baboons on our way to the lunch area, which overlooked the late. The lunch itself was really lovely and the view just amazing. After eating, we continued our game drive and then drove to our hotel, the Serena Lodge Lake Manyara, where we had a buffet dinner and spent the night (very nice accommodation, amazing swimming pool with view, beautiful rooms, highly recommend). The next day, we continued our journey to the Serengeti, with a stop at a Masai village (which came with a pre-agreed additional cost of $50 per car to be paid to the tribe chief). It was extremely interesting to see first-hand how they live. The tribe chief explained their way of life, showed us one of the huts they live in, and answered all our questions. The tribespeople also did their jumping dance for us. Afterwards, the chief invited us to buy some of the arts & craft pieces that were on display for the tourists, which we did without asking for the price ahead of time. A word of caution here: Beware of their prices, they are sky-high! After the Masai village, we were on our way again with a boxed lunch stop, and then our first Serengeti game drive in the afternoon which lasted till nightfall. The Serengeti stunned us with its beauty and the number and variety of animals we saw there…we went from one highlight sighting to the next, it was spectacular. We spent the night at the Safari View Luxury Camp (a very unique tented accommodation, not even a year old, highly recommend), and did another amazing Serengeti game drive the next day. Benson was well connected, and communicated with the other guides via radio with the result that he was able to show us also some of the rarer animals there, including a cheetah and a leopard. In the afternoon, we left the Serengeti and drove to the Serena Lodge Ngorongoro, where we spent the night. The hotel was located at an altitude of 2300m, and the temperatures were rather cold, so we were glad we had brought some warm clothing with us. The next day we started really early (6.30 am departure) to visit Ngorongoro Crater. It was yet another fabulous game drive with thousands of animals surrounding us, including zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, lions, buffalo, elephants, hippos and all sorts of birds. Benson was eager to locate some of the remaining rhinos living there (only 25-30 are currently left!) and he found three of them, which we could see from a distance. We left the crater in the early afternoon and headed back to the airport (with a boxed lunch stop on the way), where Benson saw us off. He really proved to be a great and experienced guide during the 4 days we spent with him, and was genuinely interested in making our trip unforgettable - thank you for such an amazing experience!DeesF2023-01-14What a memories we made! What beautifull memories we made! Ranger Benson took us on a wonderfull 6 day private safari. We started at the Green Mountain hotel. That's a nice place to start the journey. Benson and the chef picked us up in the open top jeep. They drove us to the amazing national parks (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara) and showed us all the things you hoped for. And not just showing, but also provided us with interesting information about the parcs, the wildlife and the tribes in the area. We were very lucky to see so many animals and even the migration. One day we had problems with the jeep, but because of his many friend-rangers Benson succeeded to give us a perfect day. Camping in the parks was a great adventure. In the morning, afternoon and evening, the chefi surprised us with fresh and delicious meals. We really recommend WIPA Safaris for a great safari in Tanzania.Guido T2022-11-27Best holiday we ever had My girlfriend and I chose Wipa safaris and Benson for a 8 days tour of Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, following the advice of some friends. It was an amazing experience and we cannot wait to repeat it. Benson is incredibly knowledgeable about the parks (and seems to be known for his professionalism and fun by the other safari guides). That allowed us to see all the animals we wanted - in just three days we saw all the big five thanks to Benson knowledge of the park. Thanks to Benson, we often found spots with lions and other animals without other cars around, making our experience incredible. During the 8 days we had great fun and we really felt Benson and the chef hired by him were doing their best to ensure our comfort. It is an experience we want to absolutely repeat - they went above and beyond to unsure this was a memorable experience.
